Registration Process
- Registration works on a first come first served basis and is subject to availability.
- Registration is done in person.
- A spot is reserved for a new student after submitting the required forms and completing the application.
- The following documents are required for registration:
- Completed Application form. (application form is given upon in person registration)
- Proof of birth (birth certificate, passport or citizenship card)
- Health card
- Updated immunization record
- Most recent report card
- Void cheque or direct deposit form.
Registration for the 2026 – 2027 school year will open on a first come first served basis according to the following information
Early Registration (One day only)
Sunday July 5th 11:00 am to 1:15pm
General Registration Period
Start Date: Wednesday 15th July
Timings:
Monday to Thursday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Friday to Sunday Closed
End Date: Wednesday August 12th
Registration location: Masjid Al-Hakeem,2197 Maple Grove Rd, Bowmanville, ON, L1C 6N1

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you follow the Ontario Curriculum?
Yes. Our curriculum is similar to other schools in our province, excluding anything considered inappropriate in Islam. We provide subjects such as: Math, English, Science, Geography, History, Social Studies, French, Art, and Gym.
What is your daily schedule like?
8:30 – 10:30 : Quran/Hifdh and Islamic studies
10:30 – 3:00: Academic studies
There are two lunch breaks and a break for salah during the day.
Where do students have their recess?
We have designated areas for students to eat their lunch. Students can also play sports outside under adult supervision.
What grades do you have?
We currently have from Kindergarten to grade 8.
Do you use a split grade system?
Yes. It is common for schools in Ontario to use the split grade system. (e.g. Grade 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8)
Do students get report cards?
Yes. Students get three report cards every year.
If a student moves to another school, will there be a problem?
No. All registered schools in Ontario follow the same evaluation guidelines and curriculum.
Is there a school bus service?
No. We do not provide transportation services at the moment. Carpooling is a common solution for many of our students.
Are the boys and girls separate?
Yes. the older boys and girls are in separate classes.
Is there a uniform?
Yes. the uniform is appropriate Islamic clothing. Boys wear white, whilst girls wear black or blue.
What if there are no spaces available in the grade i am looking for?
We try our best to accommodate everyone, but we have limited spaces. Enrollment is done on a first come first served basis.
What are the school fees?
The school fees are $200 per month.
